I heart our life in Texas.

I heart family.

And when the two can come together every few months for a long weekend or a holiday my heart is so full!

My parents came to visit over Columbus Day weekend. We love having my mom and dad in town. As I’ve mentioned before, my mom loves home decor and creating just like me. And both my parents like landscaping and spending time in their yard in Missouri.

When they visit we pick their brains as Greg and I attempt to turn our yard into a beautiful outdoor space.

Last fall, Greg and my dad built the stone wall around our front tree.
And this fall it was time for some bushes, grasses, and a wee-little tree (Grow little tree, grow!) I am hoping my parents’ green thumbs rub off on me!

But hard work calls for some celebrating too! We attended ALDS Game 3 at Globe Life Park in Arlington. My hubs and his family are HUGE Rangers fans. We had a great time at the game! It was so fun to have both our families together (& to get to spend time with some of our sweet friends.)
