Happy Sunday, friends!

It’s been awhile. This “school year wife” has been busy! I had many cute, fun blog ideas for February. Super Bowl decor, how to hang silver on walls, Valentine’s Day cute-ness…

But then, my 30th birthday happened and I’m not going to lie, that’s a pretty great reason to take a blogging vacation.

The day before the Super Bowl the hubs surprised me with a cute, little bag that read ‘Hello Sunshine!’

‘Why would I need sunscreen in February?’ I thought. Inside was SuperGoop sunscreen and a trip itinerary for the following Thursday to Mexico! What a surprise!

So here a few pictures of the fun we had. A little bit of ‘summer’ to hold me over until real summer arrives!

After our long weekend in paradise, my parents arrived and the celebration continued with dinner at one of my favorite Dallas restaurants, The Common Table.

February 2016 was a month of memory-making for sure. I feel so lucky that I was able to celebrate this birthday was so much sweet friends & family.

So about those February posts… those might be something for ‘The Summer Wife’ to share come June.
