Hi sweet friends! Thanks for stopping by thesummerwife.com today. We’ve been vacationing the past two weekends and one of my favorite things to do when visiting sweet friends is planning a little hostess gift for them (Can we say #summerwife?!)
When visiting our friends out of town, like we did, I usually will pack my hostess gift in my bag/suitcase as well as a bag, pre-written note and ribbon. This makes it easy to assemble in our guest room when we arrive.
This year, hostess gifting was oh so fun, because I added a little baby gift for the mama-to-be. Texas socks for one & the cutest ‘Lake Life’ (Etsy: StellaGracedesigns4u) onesie for the other!
Yes, both of my sweet friends that we visited are expecting!
These are some of my favorite summer hostess gifts to give:
-Dishtowels (I love to get the Cythnia Rowley ones from HomeGoods!)
-Decorative paper straws (These are always by the checkout at HomeGoods or Target Dollar section.)
-Summer-y/Nautical Napkins (HomeGoods again has cute, seasonal ones for a great price!)
Summer is all about finding ways to relax & recharge. Spending time with these friends was both relaxing & fun! We are so thankful for their friendships.
