Hi friends! I mentioned that we’ve been traveling around some this summer and another place that I was so lucky to visit was the Magnolia Silos.
Greg had a football related visit he needed to take to Temple, TX and you know what city you happen to drive through on your way to Temple… yep, Waco! Since I was off during the week (#summerwife), we made a stop to see the sites of the silos and it did not disappoint. I also read The Magnolia Story this summer, which gave me such an appreciation for Chip & Joanna’s journey beyond the TV show — great read!
My top 3 tips for visiting Magnolia Silos:
–Get there early! Friends, Fixer Upper has a HUGE following and this place is known for lines and lines and lines, but we showed up about 8:30 am grabbed a coffee at the Magnolia Bakery, enjoyed the Magnolia Silo grounds and hopped in line right before the store opened at 9:00am. It is open from 9:00-6:00 Monday-Saturday.
–Visit the Seed & Supply Store. Darling! Especially their garden in front of the store.
–Look beyond the products. One of the reasons I love the show Fixer Upper and everything Joanna Gaines is for the same reason I love window shopping. As a creative/home decor lover, I get so many ideas from store displays of how to re-purpose things already in our home. So look around while you’re there and notice how they display wreaths, cutting boards and other things you already have in your home.

So excited for season 5 of Fixer Upper this fall!
