The trees are about the show us how lovely it is to let things go. -Anonymous
It’s November and it’s still 90 degrees here in TX (so maybe those leaves won’t be showing us their changing colors too soon), but November is a special month in our house. The hubs’ favorite holiday is this month, Thanksgiving, and we like to celebrate and decorate!
So today’s post is all about how I transition from Halloween to Thanksgiving decor. I love white pumpkins. I think they are so clean and cute. Even prior to Halloween this year, I purchased more white pumpkins because I knew I could transition them a little easier into ‘turkey day’ decor.
I kept our mantel mostly the same, except for where I had a framed skull for Halloween, I downloaded a turkey for this month. I took down my Halloween crow and replaced it with a straw turkey, added a brown pumpkin for a little more of a fall feel and added some feathers to the cotton stalks.
In the dining room, I added some corn to the china cabinet and the Happy Thanksgiving tag to the knob. Our little turkey sits on our floating shelves while a small, white pumpkin sits upon our appetizer plates.
With just a little bit of creativity, you can be all set for Thanksgiving in no time. š So enjoy the lil’ turkey day house tour… hope some of these ideas make there way into your home this month!
Oh! One more thing… don’t forget the outside… it may be 90 in TX today, but yards need fall love too!
Happy Fall, y’all!
Love your Thanksgiving/Fall decor !
