Happy Saturday, sweet friends!
Hope you’re staying warm this January. We finally got cold, very cold, here in TX and we have been spending much of this week under blankets watching Netflix by the fire. My mom also came to visit over the long weekend and the hubs tried out his new Christmas toy… the smoker!
But, what I really wanted to share with you today was a little bit about the sweetest, little get-away we went on over the holidays! If you’re looking for a quiet, simple place to travel for a long, peaceful weekend look no further than Broken Bow, Oklahoma!
Yes, you heard me right…
Usually, this Missouri Tiger fan (when I was in college we were still part of the Big 12) is not a fan of many things Oklahoma related, but Broken Bow is a little, hidden gem.
Only about a 3.5 hour drive from Dallas, we hopped in our car at the tail end of our winter break and rented a sweet, little cabin for two called The Love Shack. Yes, like the B-52’s song…that’s why I picked it!
Booking through Creative Escapes luxury cabin rentals was such an easy process and such a clean, fun and affordable cabin experience. Our cabin was a one bedroom, two bath, with a fireplace, pool table, fire pit, hot tub and yes, even a Christmas tree! The tree was probably what I was most excited about when we arrived.
