A Mini Kitchen Update

Less Monday. More Summer. – Anonymous

Happy Monday! Hope you had such a great weekend!! Ours was pretty low key and sometimes in the middle of summer, those are the BEST ones!

We’ll be traveling the next few weekends, so a weekend at home was so welcomed!

We saw Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, the Fred Rogers documentary, on Friday night and it was excellent. Greg and I would both highly recommend this movie. It is only playing in select theaters at this time, so you may have to search a little bit to find it in a theater near you. The film was so interesting and had such great messages woven throughout.

Last week I did a teeny, tiny makeover on my canisters in the kitchen using my silhouette machine. These canisters were a wedding gift 6 years ago and recently I thought wanted to update them so I began looking at purchasing some new ones. But, once I got my silhouette machine I decided try updating them first.

I used black adhesive vinyl and a font called graceful. I love how they turned out!

Other ideas for updating kitchen canisters are getting chalkboard labels (linked here) and a white sharpie or chalk. These are also removable.

Thanks for making a quick stop by the blog today!
